Go for a memorable adventure in the heart of the algerian Sahara, where the golden dunes, arches towering and engravings ancestral reveal the mysteries of a universe outside of time.
🏜️ Day 1 : Arrival and immersion Tin Amali
Upon your arrival to Djanet, our team will welcome you with warmth before you take a 4×4 to Tin Amali, the gateway to the vastness of the desert. After the installation of the camp, let yourself be enchanted by the first night under a starry sky, where the silence of the Sahara is an invitation to meditation.
🌄 Day 2 : Discovery of El Beridj and its natural treasures
Cap on El Beridj, a region where nature unfolds of breathtaking landscapes : dunes majestic sandstone cliffs and dark canyons sheltering of the water holes, secret. Every step tells a story, and the day ends with a bivouac in an enchanting setting.
⛰️ Day 3 : rock Engravings and dunes Moulanaga
Immerse yourself in the history, thanks to the rock engravings and rock paintings of the Wadi Bardj. Then, a crossing in 4×4 leads you to Moulanaga, where the golden dunes stretching to the horizon. The night takes place in a setting of the dream, lulled by the breath of the wind of the sahara.
🏰 Day 4 : The arches of the cathedral, and the sunset in Tin-Merzouga
The expedition continues to Tin-Merzouga, where the famous arches of the cathedral attest to the greatness of the desert. After a lunch at In-Tehak, check out one of the most beautiful natural spectacles : the sunset on the dunes of Tin-Merzouga, the festival of lights unforgettable.
🎨 Day 5 : Exploration of rock-art sites of Bou-Hadiene
This day is dedicated to the discovery of frescoes millennia of Bou-Hadiene, which tell about the life of the ancient inhabitants of the desert. After a pause, on the dunes of In-Zaouatene, in the direction of In-Jaran for a peaceful night under the stars.
🌍 Day 6 : Crossing the Tassili n'ajjer
We travel the legendary Tassili n'ajjer, classified as a UNESCO world heritage site, a real open air museum. After a stop in Adaik, we set up our bivouac Essandilen, where nature reveals the landscape of a rare intensity.
🚙 Day 7 : Back to Djanet and the Erg Admer
The way back goes through Tikoubaween for lunch in the middle of the desert, before joining the Erg Admer. These dunes majestic offer one last show before a final night in the bivouac, in a gorgeous setting.
🐂 Day 8 : The Cow crying and end of the trip
To end this odyssey, we visit the famous rock carving of the Cow crying, a moving testimony to the history saharan africa. Finally, back to Djanet for an immersion in the local culture before your transfer to the airport, taking with you memories engraved forever.
